When I decided to restore my 1975 Pontiac Firebird, I wanted to do something different, yet keep it looking almost like a factory effort and I couldn't bear to be one of ten million others using worn-out Pontiac silver-blue metallic. Dupli-Color Plum Engine Enamel proved to be the perfect look for this project. The paint can be applied heavily without fear of runs or sags and covers completely in one coat. The ceramic additives really seem to stand up to engine heat without fading or peeling. Using a heat gun between coats really gives a baked-on quality to the finish. Thanks for making a great product!!!
