How To Use

  • Usage
    Automotive Trim & Accessories
  • Prep
    The surface must be dry and grease, wax and oil free. Use Dupli-Color prep products to clean the surface. All rust and corrosion must be removed prior to painting. The surface must also be scuffed if it is glossy. Paint will not bond to a glossy surface. Mask off any surrounding areas to protect from overspray always use a drop cloth or plastic under the paint project.
  • Application
    Shake can vigorously for one full minute after mixing ball moves freely. Shake can for 10 seconds after each minute of use. To spray, hold can parallel and 8-10 inches from surface to be painted and use an even, sweeping motion. To avoid runs and sags apply 2-3 light coats, allowing surface to dry 10 minutes between coats. Dries to the touch in 30 minutes. Can be handled in 1 hour. Covers approximately 12-14 square feet.
  • Clean Up Disposal
    Use regionally compliant cleaner for cleaning purposes
