Dupli-Color® Wheel Paint provides a durable, long lasting finish. These coatings will protect your wheels and resist fading, chipping, chemicals, heat, weather and corrosion. Withstands intermittent temperatures up to 250°F (121°C). Ideal for aluminum wheels, steel wheels, plastic hubcaps and center caps.

How To Use

  • Usage
    Aluminum wheels, steel wheels, plastic hubcaps and center caps
  • Prep
    Prepare surface by removing loose paint, dirt, rust, grease, wax, etc. Use grease and wax remover or Dupli-Color® Prep Spray PS100 to clean surface. Lightly sand surface with 600 grit sandpaper, wet or dry. Wipe surface down again with Dupli-Color® Prep Spray PS100.
  • Application
    To spray, hold can parallel and 8-10 inches from the surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. Apply 3 light coats, followed by one medium wet coat. Apply all coats within 1 hour, allowing 10 minutes between each coat. For additional coats after 1 hour, wait 7 days for paint to cure. Dries to the touch in 30 minutes, and can be handled in 1 hour. Apply Dupli-Color® Gloss or Matte Clear Coat for added protection.
  • Clean Up Disposal
    Use regionally compliant cleaner for cleaning purposes

Dupli-Color® Prep-Spray is specifically formulated to remove oil, wax, grease and other contaminants from metal surfaces. The use of Dupli-Color® Prep-Spray prior to painting will maximize your gloss and finish for best performance. 1K Clear Coat
Dupli-Color® 1K Clear is a high performance clearcoat recommended for use over any Dupli-Color® product for added protection, appearance and performance. The modified urethane formulation provides a high-quality gloss finish, film hardness, gasoline resistance and UV protections to deliver best in class clear coat results. 1K Clear features a spray-anyway, fan spray nozzle for superior flow, leveling and sag resistance for a smooth consistent application. 1K Clear is heat resistant up to 250°F intermittenly and can be used for interior, exterior and under-hood applications.
