Description
Created somewhat of a accidental hybrid with the copper plate and matte gold aerosols on my MRR GT1s.
How did you do that? Did you just do one as a full coat and then mist over it? Please tell me those look so good.
I can’t remember my coat amounts but this is a full coating of the newer gold. Then I went back and forth with light coats of the new copper (not copperplate) and gold until I got to the tone I liked.
So is this copper plate over the matte gold? Looks great.
No the copper plate is for chrome wheels. I used the new copper that’s offered in a few light coats over a full gold coating
Hi. Your wheels look great. It’s very close to the Ohlins gold anodized color that I’m after.
To confirm, that’s the matte gold wheel paint over the matte copper?
Cheers.
If I remember correctly, its the opposite. Couple light coats and one heavy coat of the matte gold as a good base. Then matte copper light misting over it until I got the color. If it went too close to more of the copper color I would mist some more gold to bring back the color richness.
